FORMER LADY HUSKIES PLAYER GOING PROFESSIONAL
Former Lady Huskies Player-Sidney Parsons has signed a professional basketball contract to play in Germany next year for the SV Halle Lions of the Division 1 German DBBL.
Sidney graduated in May from Bridgeport University with a major in Social Science with a concentration in Pre-Law and minors in history, sociology and psychology.
Sidney also starred in the classroom amassing a perfect 4.0 grade point average and graduating at the top of her class. Sidney earned ESPN the Magazine Academic All-District honors three times during her career and was selected as the East Coast Conference Women’s Basketball Scholar-Athlete of the Year in 2009.

The Lady Huskies participated in the Summit Hoops tournament and again came away as CHAMPIONS. The JV team won for the 2nd time in the last 3 years beating Mountian Pointe's varsity team in the chamipionship game.
